I’m Dr Caroline Barclay, a Family Doctor (MD) and mom of 3, working in beautiful Vancouver, BC! As a healthcare professional, I’ve always appreciated the importance of nutrition, especially in babies and children. Inadequate nutrition can lead to poor growth and development, fatigue and a weakened immune system. Vitamin deficiencies can have detrimental effects on vital organs such as the brain, heart, bones and teeth.

Kids can be very picky when it comes to food and it isn’t always easy to provide a balanced diet with adequate vitamins for your little ones 24/7. Being a mom of 3 young children myself I totally get it! Moreover, I found navigating all of the available kids and baby supplements challenging, even with my medical training! There are SO many options, all with very different compositions and amounts. Extremely confusing!

I launched The Kids Vitamin Doctor in 2024 with the aim of simplifying vitamin supplements for parents and caregivers. All of my products contain the recommended, age-appropriate amounts of vitamins in palatable flavors, low in sugar and free from additives. They are all vegan too! I have always been super paranoid about choking and did not want my 2 or 3 year old eating gummies! Hence, I formulated the Vitamin D spray for toddlers 1 +. No more worrying about choking!
